I love to bake, I love to write, I love to share my fun, I love to take photos and love the ideas that come from other people when they comment on my blog.

I totally have what it takes to become one of Paula Deen’s favorite bloggers.

I’m not afraid to show my mistakes, nor am I afraid to show off what I love. I easily giggle at my baking errors and am giddy when something turns out even better than I expected.

My husband is my number one taste tester and my blog proofreader. He's awesome on both accounts! Sometimes he wants me to blog, which he knows that means I have to bake something new. Sneaky, right?

I'd love to be part of Paula's Team. She's an inspiration and I ♥ her.

Paula Deen I love her too! I have all her pottery, it's so beautiful. I try to never miss her shows! Precious you even remind me of her.

♥ Welcome to Baking by Precious ♥

Why Baking by Precious? The first term of endearment my husband ever called me was Precious. Of all of the terms of endearments that have come this one has stuck.

I love pictures of pretty food and I love to bake. I love pink, so expect lots of pink and if not pink, then lots of color. I love Hello Kitty....so expect her to make an appearance in the form of some cupcake or something. Oh and I love Gilmore Girls, too.

Why in the heck am I baking so much? My husband and I have a dream of opening a bed and breakfast. It will be a reality in a few years, so in the meantime, everything you see is a “tester” recipe. Yes, it’s a baking blog but I will toss in breakfast fun, too. But really, if you stay at our inn, expect lots of baking going on for your pleasure. ♥
