Chocolate and White Pound Cake

Everything is better when chocolate is added. So I'm told. I'm more a fruity girl, but not Hub. Or the neighbors. Or my work peeps. So when I saw this beautiful Pound Cake, I thought, why not melt some chocolate and make it a Chocolate Pound Cake....but why just do dark chocolate when you could do white chocolate.

Sooooooooooo, I added White Chocolate to the bottom layer and Dark Chocolate to the top layer and viola.....Chocolate and White Pound Cake.

Hub's comments, with his mouth stuffed with this gorgeous cake, were....this is amazing....really good. So yea!!! Oh and his son, said it would be really good with chocolate sauce on top. I didn't have any, so he added a mound of whipped cream. So tasty.

♥ Welcome to Baking by Precious ♥

Why Baking by Precious? The first term of endearment my husband ever called me was Precious. Of all of the terms of endearments that have come this one has stuck.

I love pictures of pretty food and I love to bake. I love pink, so expect lots of pink and if not pink, then lots of color. I love Hello Kitty....so expect her to make an appearance in the form of some cupcake or something. Oh and I love Gilmore Girls, too.

Why in the heck am I baking so much? My husband and I have a dream of opening a bed and breakfast. It will be a reality in a few years, so in the meantime, everything you see is a “tester” recipe. Yes, it’s a baking blog but I will toss in breakfast fun, too. But really, if you stay at our inn, expect lots of baking going on for your pleasure. ♥
